"zhuangzi" Term Study

The Book of "ZhuangZi" conducts as the representative of Philosophers before Qin Dynasty, and its language reflects the basic feature of Chinese language in ancient time, especially between the end of ZhanGuo to the beginning of Han period. It is also one of the sources of later ages standard written language. Therefore it really has the important position in the history of Chinese language. The Book of "ZhuangZi" is the philosophy work of Chinese ancient ages. Philosophy needs concept for its explanation, and the noun takes an important role. Saying from a certain meaning, the noun is the window of idea and the raw material of thought. It had special meaning that decided by the style of thought when it was born. The noun itself includes extremely abundant ofinformation------thought, esthetic, culture, the angle of view, out look of value and so on.Research the noun in The Book of "ZhuangZi" solidly, analyzing the features of the noun in ages, region, philosophy culture and so on, and concluding several types of cognition values about The Book of "ZhuangZi" in the whole Chinese language history, will have good effects on the study of Chinese language history and Chinese language vocabulary history and the research about the language of The Books of philosophers before Qin Dynasty.This thesis uses the new edition in 1961 which named "ZhuangZiJiShi", and makes use of the research of people in the past in order to do the research of The Book of "ZhuangZi" thoroughly. This thesis is divided into 5 parts.Part 1: Preface, first, introduce the basic condition of The Book of "ZhuangZi", including the past noted books about The Book of "ZhuangZi" and the person who noted The Book of "ZhuangZi", the present condition of the history of the vocabulary about The Book of "ZhuangZi".
