On The Sustainable Development Of Minority Music

Human prosperity does not only take account of substantial resources the mankind depends on, but the culture resources human spiritual world require. The Music of Chinese minorities, a part of Chinese culture, its exhaustion, rejuvenation, and continual enhancement have a great influence on the sustainable development of Chinese culture.At present, development of minorities' music is mainly based on the administrative division of national autonomy. This research is founded on the investigations of the ecological environment of the Koreans' music in the ChangBai Koreans' autonomous county. Through the analysis of the Koreans' music after the Koreans migration into the ChangBai county; such as their culture merge with other nationalities' and revolution themselves, trend and conservation, regeneration and extinction. The transformations of the musical ecological environment in ChangBai Koreans autonomous county and comparability with other minorities' have been discussed. Hence further investigations of the influence of revolutionized ecological environment on the musical resources of Chinese minorities during Chinese modernization have been carrying through. And by seeking its principles and characteristic, it offers worthy and scientific basis for sustainable development of Chinese minorities' music. To take a step further, the discussions involve how to maintain the musical ecological environment of the minorities', to seek respectable methods and pathways to build up, to pass on and to propagate minorities' music.In the exordium, the author states the academic value and practical meaning of this subject, the purpose of writing, and also briefly states the methods of studying national music which are applied to the research on t he investigations of the ecological environment of the Koreans' music in the ChangBai Koreans' autonomous county.Chapter One "The history of Changbai Korean and their musical resources".
