Nguyen Du (1765-1820). a great Vietnamese poet, also named To Nhu, nick name Thanh Hien. In 18th years of Qing Dynasty Jiaqing period, as a Vietnamese diplomat, he visited to China. He did write a Chinese corpus titled as "Bac Hanh Tap Luc". He has been adapted a Vietnamese narrative poem titled as "Kim Van Kieu Truyen" according to the "Qingxin Cairen Xiaoshuo" (Kim Van Kieu Truyen) of The Late Ming Dynasty and The Early Qing Dynasty. "Kim Van Truyen" also named as "Doan Truong Tan Thanh". In Vietnam, people always name it as "Truyen Kieu". Vietnamese literary regarded him as the Quyuan, Pushkin of Vietnam.Times do create a gifted literary writer, Nguyen Du. Once we talk about Nguyen Du, surely we will think about his great poet, "Kim Van Kieu Truyen". "Kim Van Kieu Truyen" is the soul of Vietnam, which is a fact that we can't denied. But, if we only know about his "Kim Van Kieu Truyen", that is not enough. Just like the comment of a Vietnamese scholar, Mai Quoc Lien," 'Kim Van Kieu Truyen' was a great work of literature that created from a 'mistaken'. Only Chinese poetry was his own creation, his expertise, we should consider it as the "official spokesman" of Nguyen Du." .Mai Quoc Lien, a Vietnamese scholar once said "The Nyugen Du Chinese poetry is a great art in literature, the hidden meaning of his Chinese poetry do have infinite potential. It is not only fresh, unique in Vietnam millennium man's poem, but also unique in China, in the Chinese poems." Therefore, the Chinese poetry of Nguyen Du should not be ignored. Some scholars have been published papers about his Chinese poetry before, but, they never do the detailed inspection and analysis on the collection of poems "Bac Hanh Tap Luc" that he wrote during the time as ambassador China. Normally, an ambassador serve as an envoy abroad, they will write some Yingchou Changhe Shi as formerly gifts to the government, but, in the collection of Nguyen Du poems, "Bac Hanh Tap Luc", did not have any Yingchou Changhe Shi. Poems in "Bac Hanh Tap Luc" is elegant, and full of deeply and profound thoughts, different from the entertainment poems that normally Vietnam ambassadors wrote. Poems that they normally wrote were just to deal with the social activities or to eulogize the masters of China (just as Xu Shichang "Wanqing Yishi Hui" record).This thesis mainly aimed at the "Bac Hanh Tap Luc" historical contents, ideological contents and artistic attainments; make a comprehensive and in-depth study."Bac Hanh Tap Luc" (132 poems) wrote when Nguyen Du visited to China. Nguyen Du stay in China just over one year, but the total volume of his poems in this time was more than the Chinese poems that he creates during previous 20 years. These poems were included in "Thanh Hiem Thi Tap" (78 poems), "Nam Trung Tap Ngam" (40 Poems). "Bac Hanh Tap Luc" of Nguyen is extremely rich in content, and the thinking is very meaningful. The way to the north did broaden the view and mind of the poet. In the "Bac Hanh Tap Luc", Nguyen Du wrote about the experiences of his trip from Vietnam to china, the sympathy for the China resident, and the critics of the Qing Dynasty Government. The ancients are models of us. Although Nguyen Du only stay in China for a short time, but "Bac Hanh Tap Luc" did prove that for understanding of the Chinese culture. Meanwhile, it also shows the strong feeling of sympathy for people who were suffering and desire to help them. All of this was beyond the scope of state. Just as Mai Quoc Lien said " 'Bac Hanh' is the dominant literary creation of Ngugen Du".Therefore, "Bac Hanh Tap Luc" is worth of study and analyze.
