This paper sort out all ZhangZi's life on the basis of elders' study, present some his poems and essays, do relatively deep-going study of his Ci. Combining with his life background and temperament characteristic, I expound Zhang's Ci from two aspects:delicate and heroic.Firstly, I introduce Zhang' s name, native place, date of birth and death, deeds during all his life. ZhangZi is nobility ZhangJun's great-grandson and famous poet Zhangyan' s great-grandfather. For one thing, he erected many buildings in his garden and frequently gave banquets there, enjoyed luxurious life. For another, his essence world was also rich and elegant. ZhangZi wrote 《YuZhaoTangMeiPin》 and 《ZhangYueZhaiShangXinLeShi》 .He was good at calligraphy and painting. He trained girls singing at home and often learned from each other by exchange works with men of letters. It was said that he initiated HaiYanQiang .Secondly, I present some poems and essays of ZhangZi's briefly. ZhangZi summarized his experiences of planting, wrote 《YueZhaiZhongHuaFa>》 and 《YuZhaoTangMeiPin》 , the latter is an essay about plum blossom. 《ZhangYueZhaiShangXinLeShi》, one of his works, manifested his wonderful and interesting life around year in great detail. What' s more, he wrote 《YueZhaiGuiYinBaiKe》 , it is the preface of collection of poems about his room GuiYintang. These essays develop ZhangZi' s life and quality well. When talk about poem, ZhangZi' s poems enjoyed great fame in his time and his creation status was consented by his peers. He made friends with YangWanli, YouMao, FanChengda, LuYou, XiaoDezao and so on , they learned from each other a lot. There are ten chapters poems in 《NanHuji》 , most of them are refined.Thirdly, the study about ZhangZi' s Ci. One part is about his Ci of elegant lingering charm. I put emphasize mainly on his attainments of YongWuci. The content of most ZhangZi' s YongWuci is his wonderful life and most articles are common and trivial. ZhangZi often entrusts persons' emotion and phychology to articles, so his works are vivid and lifelike, natural, unrestrained, full of life atmosphere and poetic charm. Especially 《ManTingFang · criket》 , it was highly praised by many men of letters. The other part is about ZhangZi' s heroic Ci. Most of them are works responding with XinQiji and related to current events. From this part, we can clearly perceive the profound friendship between ZhangZi and his friends and he loved his country very much.
