Yin Ruins Inscriptions Turbinates Function Words Is A Preliminary Study

Function word——one of the means to express meaning in the Chineselanguage, plays an important role in the Chinese language. In oracle-boneinscriptions, comparing with the large notional words, function wordsare not many. But from their positions and functions ,they have alreadyhad the early scale and constituted the system of the function word. Sothe study of function word is an important aspect of the grammar studyin oracle-bone inscriptions.In the October of 1991, the Institute of Archaeology, ChineseAcademy of Social Sciences excavated a No. 91huadongH3 hole withoracle-bone in the east of Huayuanzhuang in Yinxu. Scholars did a lotof research on it after the oracle-bone inscriptions in the east ofHuayuanzhuang in Yinxu being sprouted. But nobody did a research on thefunction word of this oracle-bone. Therefore it is necessary that we makea sorting and research now.This thesis is divided into seven chapters. The first chapterintroduces the study of function word of the Huadong oracle-boneinscriptions and the oracle-bone inscriptions in the past. The other sixchapters introduced the pronoun,adverb,preposition,conjuntion,moodword of the Huadong oracle-bone inscriptions.
