| The heroism as an ancient topic appears in the text of artistic output with a special way as the civilization changed every time. For a long time, television play which to be an evidence of popular property of TV performs millions of stories abundant in subject matter and loved deeply by the viewers. However, TV plays on heroism theme did not attract the sight of enough people in the past. All of these things must be associated with cultural surroundings that the mainstream culture, elite culture and popular culture present the state of three most important culture. Just in 2005, as the 60th anniversary of the victories of the world anti-fascist and the Chinese people`s war of resistance against Japanese aggression, we have 60 units of TV plays described the War of Resistance which were shown in our TV. This phenomena has caused wide attention of professional figures. This paper was designed to run back over the heroism history. Meantime, it came up to a concept of new heroism, and analyzed the text of several representative TV plays appeared in recent years. By which, it tried to probe into the deeply cultural meaning of the abrupt rise of TV plays on heroism. At last, it made a summary for the regularity and pattern of the TV plays on heroism. |
