Yaozhou kiln is a famous kiln in ancient China . It originated in Tang dynasty, going through the Five Dynasties, the Song Dynasty, the Yuan Dynasty and even the early Ming Dynasty, totally more than 800 years. Yaozhou kiln is pretty rich in its varieties, many of which are precious, especially the black glaze tower-type pot, Tang three color head of dragon component and celadon carving backwash kettle.Since the policy of reform and opening to the outside world, the price of ancient ceramics has become astonishingly high. Many forgeries emerged as high profits stimulated; consequently, buying forgeries with a high price is nothing new. In recent years, some people have tried to focus on modern science and technology to find a way to tell the forgeries from the authentic ones. Ancient ceramics are usually baked with materials near the kiln, so the characteristics of the producing area of the clay raw material, such as chemical components, percentage of microelements, percentage of trace element and baking information are still reserved in ancient ceramics. Adopting nuclear analytical techniques to measure the percentage of main element, microelement and trace element in the ancient ceramic samples, building a data base, making use of known information to judge the unknown ancient porcelain, finding out the origin and classification of ancient ceramic, thus going deep into the scientific research of ancient ceramics, this thesis tries to find a scientific way to distinguish the forgeries from the authentic ones.In this thesis, the chemical composition of ancient Yaozhou cerimic was detected by two kinds of nuclear analytical methods such as PIXE and NAA. The data were analyzed by three ways such as scatter analysis, factor analysis of multivariate statistical analysis and fuzzy reduced analyse. Finally, the results were obtained as shown as below:1. In the scatter analysis, according to find out the fingerprint element to difference two or more kind of ceramic , this text bring out firstly that : calculating each element of every kind of sample with arithmetic average value a and standard error marginσ.to a sample , choosing out those most sample that whose some element between a+/-σ, and analysis the difference of homologous choosing element with arithmetic average value a about different sample .choosing the element that the difference of a is big as fingerprint element. use that method this text find out the fingerprint element of different time yaozhou ceramic glaze and carrying out on those yaozhou ceramic glaze with fingerprint element spreads analysis.2. we can make a conclusion by factor analysis and fuzzy reduced analysis : From the Tang Dynasty to the early Song Dynasty, there are more than 800 years in which the material place of ancient yaozhou ceramic is relatively stable and centralized. But the material places of Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties are more similar while the material places of Song Dynasty and the Jin Dynasty are more centralized. The Tang three color has the same raw material place with the Tang Dynasty yaozhou porcelain. The raw material place of the black porcelain is pretty centralized and its mineral composition is pure. The composition of the moon-white glaze of Jin dynasty is very similar to that of the celadon glaze in Song Dynasty. The glaze of Tang three color is obviously different from the glaze of yaozhou porcelain. This research provides important scientific basis for the appraisal of ancient yaozhou porcelain.3. we developed a database management system of ancient yaozhou porcelain with Delphi7.0 , which covers the management of the picture, the manufacture age and the characteristics of the ancient yaozhou porcelain. This is very convenient for the study of ancient relics .Science identification plus eyes identification improving the reliability of identify the ancient porcelains.
