As one of the five famous kilns in Song Dynasty, the Jun Kiln site located at Yuzhou city in Henan Province. Jun ware is famous for change kiln, and as the huge art and literature value it has, it is worthy of collecting and researching. Jun's outstanding technics achievement is about controlling the firing atmosphere, based on the reasonable confection of both body and glaze, as the result of that, colorful glazes are made. The coloring principle is a complicated system, there are many factors work on each other. Jun ware is always one of the most important research objects. In this dissertation, the porcelain shreds excavated in Juntai Kiln of Yuzhou city, Ru ware sherds and mordern Jun ware were selected as the objects of research. Jun ware sherds and Ru ware's Physics performances were measured. And what is more, the firing temperatures of Jun guan ware samples were measured by Thermal expansion equipment. The chemic components of Jun ware samples were tested by X-ray fluorescence. UV/VIS Spectrophotometer was used to get ancient Jun ware samples' reflectance spectrums, In the meantime, ancient Jun ware samples' microstructure were observed by Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Mossbauer spectroscopy equipment was utilized to get ancient and modern Jun ware samples' Mossbauer spectroscopy. Some interesting conclusions were made. The five kinds of glaze colors were divided into two series by their reflectance spectrums, one is dark blue, the other is light blue. The difference of the two series was caused by their chemic components and firing temperature.According to the chromaticity diagram, the chrome of pale blue was the lowest, then was the sky green, light blue, blue, that of the sea blue was the highest. The reason of why the chemic components of pale blue and shy green are similar but different color is their different microstructure. The crucial point is the position of intense bubble area.what is more, the analysis result of Mossbauer spectroscopy indicates that, the Fe2+/Fe3+of pale blue and sky green is different. That means that the firing atmosphere of the two is different, and the firing atmosphere influences the glaze colors powerfully, is one of the reasons of change kiln.
