The ancient and modern Chinese word order generally is: The subject is in the front of predicate. The object is in the back of the verb. But there was one kind ofspecial word order in the ancient Chinese------preverbal object. It refers under thecertain condition, the object sets in the front of the verb(or preposition). This kind of word order not only existed universally in pre -qin, but also prominent. It has become a research topic which is paid attention the person.The literature language in pre-qin is the typical classical Chinese and is representative. Therefore this article selects 17 ancient literature in pre-qin to analyze and research the phenomenon of the preverbal object.First 1 analyzes the main types of preverbal object. The analysis is carried on mainly from the word and phrase who is the object, syntax characterstic, some structure influencing preverbal object. The author promulgated their some sharacteristics, and carrided on the corresponding explanation to these characteristics.Second 2 discusses the historical evolution of various kinds of preverbal object. The different type evolution advancement is different.Generally speaking, the evolution speed of "shi" is quickest, the development speed of "(wei)O shi/zhi V" is also quicker, second, it is the evolution of the pronoun object in the negative sentence. The evolutions speed of the interrogative pronoun is slowest.Third 3 simply analyzes the reason of existence and its development change. Think the change of word order is because of grammatical development and is decided by the inherent law of the language development.
