Tang Dynasty Long An Zhaowu Jiuxing Marriage Type

As well known to all of us that Tang Dynasty was a great era.It was famous for its flourishing economy , strong military ,and glorious culture and so on .Tang Dynasty attracted many ethic groups to come because of its great national power and open_minded policies ,so it was called global empire .Among the ethic groups Sogdiana was one of them ,Sogdianas were very good at engaging in trade ,they were an active power and influnced on Tang's politics ,economy and culture deeply.Because the length of the writing is limited ,my dissertation's main study object is focused on the Sogdiana matrimony in Chang'an City of Tang Dynasty. On the basis of consulting lots of historical and archaeological material ,I attempt to divide the Sogdiana matrimony into three types ,that is :Sogdiana homogamy ; Intermarriage between the Sogdianas and the Han ; Intermarriage between the Sogdianas and the Hu .I will analyze and summarize the characteristics according to the three types of Sogdiana matrimony to trace down the basic path of their marriage.By analyzing I reach a conclusion ,that is as all the Hu people including Sogdianas lived in the Han's atmosphere long term ,Han's Confucian culture penetrated to them ,Hu and Han ,the two sides adhered to and spured each other on to further development .yet in a general ,Confucianism and patriarchal spirits of Han Chinese shaped the Hu's family system .So the three types of the Sogdiana matrimony all had a common trend ,that is ,assimilated by the Chinese.
