Comprehensively regarding, it is in the process of reception in China, we can find that although Chinese scholars generally is not high, the current situation keeps rising in enthusiasm of study. After the interpretation and interaction between them, on one hand, the connotation of the text,the style and the individuality of "The Sun Also Rises" is getting new meanings constantly by some new explanations .On the other hand, the observers have walked a long way from simple political thoughts to the pursuing of focusing on formal taste and finally they adopt the various view of literature research and their comprehension of the text is developing further and further.This article reviews and summarizes the reception course of "The Sun Also Rises" in China in the last 70 years primarily at these aspects below here.Prologue:Introducing the reasons of doing the research of acceptance situation of "The Sun Also Rises". Primarily expounds at two aspects: first, in Chinese research of Ernest Hemingway, the focusing on "The Sun Also Rises" is variable, earlier is cold and latter becomes very hot. Or just focused on its function of fight in ideology but not focused on pursuing of taste, then deviated from the meaning of literary comment.The second period: after 1984, along with the deepness of reformation and openness and the influence of globalization, Chinese scholars understand the western literature theory more and more thoroughly and roundly . The accepting of "The Sun Also Rises" is more and more close to the direction of the international learning. It abandoned the pure social and historical criticism and turned its steps to the essence of literature, and introduced the angle of view of literary criticism into the study of literature. Then it varied from single political angle of view to multidimensional literary angle of view. Chinese accepting research of "The Sun Also Rises" is more and more thorough and technical.The second part is self-reflection of research about the acceptance. Mainly reflect on the relationships of the accepters with social and time, accepters with text, writer and western literature criticism. I summarize the relationships and come to a conclusion that in the process of "The Sun Also Rises" has been accepted, two problems have existed: 1. It's very obvious that belletristic action has been restricted by the writing background of culture. 2. The accepter's attitude is unequal when they face writer, text and western literature criticism. I hope that we could regard the accepting research of "The Sun Also Rises" as a case so that we can pry about the accepting situation of western contemporary literature in China. Deepen the understandings of the language transfer of Chinese literary criticism.The epilogue is some thoughts of mine that discuss the rebuilding of the language of Chinese literary criticism.
