Gordon W Allport firstly proposed and studied " self-acceptance ". A large number ofstudies have shown that self-acceptance as an important part of self-awareness is the maincondition of healthy personality, and also the primary mental health standards. The clinicalpsychology schools value it while colleges pay little attention to it. In the1990s, Greenwaldet al put forward the implicit social cognition theory and implicit association test technology, which provide a new approach and perspective for the further exploration of self-awareness,also caused the domestic and foreign scholars research on implicit selfconsciousness boom. Qualitative research is an offshoot of psychological research methods.Due to it’s advantages in exploring the of individual’s inner mental world and theconstruction of psychological theory, qualitative research is increasingly being takenseriously. But at this stage, all studies about self-acceptance are based on questionnaires. Inthis context, from the perspective of the social study of implicit cognition, this article studyimplicit and explicit self-acceptance, their structural and its impact on mental health.andadopts qualitative research explore the development and influencing factors of selfacceptance., draws the following conclusion:1、Implicit self acceptance of objective existence, which is of universal significance;2、 The goodness of fit index of two-dimensional structural model of implicit and explicitself-acceptance is better than one-dimensional structural model, which means the implicitself-acceptance and self-acceptance are the two exons separated from each other, relativelyindependent of the structure;3、 Implicit and explicit self-acceptance self-acceptance are two relatively independentstructure, the combined effect of mental health, people with high implicit and explicitself-acceptance levels are most good in mental health.4、 Explicit self acceptance is related with reasonable belief, we can improve explicit selfacceptance through reasonable belief; implicit self acceptance has nothing to do with rationalbelief. 5、 Self-acceptance is life evolving, affected by individuals, families, schools and socialculture.
