Yu Dafu Literary Theory Criticism Exploration

YuDaFu is the unique and great man in the Chinese literary circles of 20 century. The accomplishment of his novel, essay, old poetry etc. has been acknowledged by the world, but his literary theory and criticism has high value too. His philosophy, literary theory, criticism, criticism style is not only independent but also integrated. In this article, at first I study his philosophy, literary theory, criticism, and then try to investigate his unique criticism style.The article is divided four parts. In the first part I narrate and critic his philosophy from three aspects: intense patriotism and the will of participating society, pessimism and the pursuit of the thorough freedom. In the second part I narrate and critic his literary theory: the opinion of unique genuineness and unique beauty, the opinion of embodying emotion, the especial essence of the writer and the function of literature. When I narrate his literary theory, I notice how he borrowed the precedent opinion and the status of his literary theory in the history of the literary theory and criticism. In the third part, I narrate and critic his literary critic theory: the pinion of genius, sentimentalism the emphasis of the individuality. In the fourth part, I study YuDaFu'literary criticism style: the prologue,the work, the criticism of a writer, the criticism of the literary work, the article, the afterword. The prologue is divided three parts:the prologue for himself, the prologue for others, the prologue for the election of the essay in new literature of Iiangyou edition. When I narrate and critic his literary criticism style, I emphasize the form, the critic way, and the language style of his criticism style.Through this article, I want to arrange and integrate YuDaFu's philosophy, literary theory and criticism theory from his novel, essay, criticism, scribble, diary, letter, then I study the essence of his criticism style. The other aim is to recognize his value being a critical somebody in Chinese modem literature history from studying his philosophy, literary theory, criticism and criticism style.I especially want to point that YuDdFu is a complicated studying object. His philosophy, literary theory and criticism is not only heterogeneous and paradoxical but also variety and iterative. In this article, in order to the reader's convenience of acceptance and comprehension, I use the way of methodic to narrate and critic to explicate and systematize his dispersive opinion. It may be destroy the complication of the noumenal。But it is a dilemma.Mang yuan is a kind of Magazine Lu Xun had edited. The period of Mang Yuan refers to the time from 1925 to 1927. It was a very important time in the life of LuXun. He got rid of the gloomy mood, retook up the pen of the literary and devoted to the literature creation after the oscillating days. He scarecely wrote novels. However, he published massive articles in the journals of literature. In his essays appreared "the criticism of civilization " and "the criticism of society ". He controverted with many people toward the female normal university event and the "3.18" massacre and so on. Simultaneously his translation was also exceptionally abundant, the tendency of his translation was very defined: On one hand, there was much translation which had the content of "the criticism of civilization " and "the criticism of society ". On the one hand,he started to pay attention to the relationship of literature and revolution. We may find it appeared some bright color in his ideas from his booklist as well as the works he encouraged the youth to translate. In that period, his essay creation and translation influented each other much. His translation content choice related directly to his essay, while the translation had tremendous influence to his essay creation. But Lu Xtm never accepted these translation ideas directly. He carded on the creative transformation. The Mang Yuan magazine manifested the ideas of Lu Xun in this stage. Lu Xun's essay creation and translation contained much transformation of his ideas. Through the essays and translation published in the Mang Yuan magazine and the Yu Si magazine, we may clean up the spiritual trend of Lu Xun.
