Zhou Sicong is one of the most outstanding female painters after the founding of new China. At the beginning of the reform and opening up, Chinese paintings are all in the same key, she had long been aware of the artistic creation not changing then facing destruction. And through her late life painting using lotus as the main part of a series of essay writing to explore life feelings, the show of nature and humanity, and the spiritual world of forgetting everything, which were placed in her pictures.
