Jiangxi Vocabulary Diacritical Explore

Jiangxi province distributes a kind of special phenomenon: sound change in vocabulary. In order to make a objective and rough manifestation of sound change in vocabulary in Gan dialect, Based on the investigations and some foregoing linguistic material, the article describes the geographic distributes, the feature of types, range of word class and the main function, and the interior development for sound change in Gan dialect in detail. Turther, on the base of comparement, the article tries to study the relationship of sound change between Gan dialect and others dialect in neighborhood. The study manifests that the sound change in Gan dialect distributes mainly on the west, middle, east of Jiangxi province. The classification includes fulling and checked manners. The former is"Zhong lie"sound change, and the latter one is tone sandhi. Nouns is the main vocabulary taking place sound change which exits a little in the other vocabulary. The main function of sound change is diminutive, and to symbol nouns at times. We find that the sound change in vocabulary of Gan dialect is a closely similar to the one in Guangzhou dialect, especially the Tuhua in northern Guangdong.
