During The National Government, Zhejiang Province, Household Research

During the Republic of China, the household politics of China had a big difference from the traditional household politics, especially in Zhejiang province. The training of household politics cadres and agencies had achieved some results. This article is based on the archives in Zhejiang Archives and historical materials in Zhejiang Library, using the clue of previous census of Zhejiang province from 1927 to 1949, analyzing the household politics of Zhejiang with three stages in this period, then choosing some countries as typical cases.In the meantime, this article summarizes the characteristics of Zhejiang population, explains that there are two reasons, which causes the little practical effect of the household politics in Zhejiang .The first is the neglect of the differences during the countries, the second is the bad impact of war. In addition, this article tries to reflect the status of national household politics by describing the condition of Zhejiang.
