| Weber was the one of the founder of romanticism composer and opera ,as well as the wonderful pianist and conductor. Der Freischutz is the most valuable masterpiece. The theme of this opera dealt with innocence and guilt plunging into the world of dream. He melted the romantic ideas into the practice of the opera composing, through this, a new mature operatic style has been shaped .The opera combines the sources of native theme,dance folk national emotion and united other elements of the opera which not only embodied the romanticism, nationalism and opera's ideas but also explored the way to the wagner's music opera road. This article has studied the opera artistic style which contained in the whole artistic design and character depiction and overture and leading theme and instrument and so on through discussing the creative background and causation. How the opera embodied the romantic spirit and the style of the German folk music, and what affected to the Weber's generation. Furtherly, the artistic merit and historical status are explored. |
