Love is one of the important theme in literature creation. Claim for personality liberation and fight for freedom of love and marriage, which is not only deep social revolution in Chinese modern history, but one of content that has most humanitarianism spirit in Chinese modern literature. The pattern of love between master and servant in modern clan literature is the love from which derives the feudal clan marriage, the rebel love that breaks through the patriarch system and ethics, the free love that pursues decision-making marriage and opposes arranged marriage. The mold of love between master and servant revolts the marriage system that arranges a match by parents' order and on the matchmaker's word in traditional society, and also shows the transition to modern marriage relationship based on love that man and woman love each other equally. The love between master and servant reflects the change from father-son vertical structure to husband-wife parallel structure. The change of family structure refracts that dependant father-son structure in traditional family transforms the husband-wife relationship based on love in core family. Chinese family structure and function split and the cohesive force of blood relation diminish in social alternate period. The love between master and servant demonstrates marriage shifts from the need satisfies people's physiology and carries on his family name to people 's feeling and his own benefit, which is full of transitional color. The love between master and servant can be divided into 3 kinds: the traditional love between master and servant in feudal family; the modem love between master and servant in feudal family; the love between master and servant in new type family.
