Gong xian Huang ye kiln is an important ceramic production sites in China. It is the earliest,the largest and the best kiln of Tri colored glazed pottery which have been found at present. The discovery solved the many years historical issues on the production of the Tri colored glazed pottery. It is an important milestone in the history of Chinese ceramics. Huang Ye kiln is also one of the tribute white porcelain production kiln. Is it its white porcelain as beautiful as its Tri colored glazed pottery? It requires us to research. Whether white porcelain, glaze recipes of Huang Ye kiln in different periods have something in common, Whether they have mastered the mature manufacturing process, All these need our research and analysis.In this paper, we choose Huang ye kiln white porcelain as our research objects. Using Proton Induced X-ray Emission 、 Spectrophotometer 、 Scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction instrument to test the samples, then analysis the results, we arrive the following review.1.Overall, Huang Ye white porcelain kiln samples of different times have a little difference in physical properties such as porosity, they both have a lot stomas in the intermediate layer between the body and the glaze; the porosity of Huang ye kiln samples in second period is lowest,but the forth period is the largest.2.We can make some conclusions from the Reflectance Spectroscopy and Dominant wavelength of Huang ye kiln white porcelains: The Dominant wavelength of the first period of Huang ye kiln are not of uniform size, and the average level is not high, most of them can meet the requirement of white porcelain, The individual sample are slightly green, The reflectivity of them is not high. The Dominant wavelength and the reflectivity of the second and third period of Huang ye kiln white porcelains are increased. The Dominant wavelength and the reflectivity of the forth period of Huang ye kiln white porcelains are very high. This shows the Huang ye kiln developed more ripe has reached the mature and stable stage at that time.3.The raw materials of the body of the four periods samples is very close. The raw materials come from the same place. The glaze raw materials fall broadly into three categories, Almost all of the forth period located in the third category, which shows that the raw materials of the forth period had got through rigorous screening.4.The white porcelains of Huang ye kiln from different periods have air bubbles in the intermediate layer between the glaze and the body. There are also a large number of needle-like-anorthite crystallization, crystallization phenomenon is more evident in the last two period Huang ye kiln. The white porcelains of Huang ye kiln have a lot of porosity and cavity in the body, it seems that the main ingredient of them are basically the same.5.The body of Huang ye white porcelains has great amount of mullite, α-quartz and cristobalite, this proves that the main ingredient of them are basically the same,but the composition ratio is different. The temperature of firing Huang ye white porcelains is about 1300°C.
