The Book of Songs is the first collection of poems in our country and the importance of literature is speechless. It's contains many aspects of things in different area and crosses long history . It was treated as the encyclopedia of ancient Chinese slavery society.. It remains a lot of folk customs and reflects different aspects of Thou Dynasty. Such as agriculture, love and marry, war, banquet and so on . The research on it can fill in the blank of history study and sociological history study.The first chapter is talked about marriage, the first part discusses about the styles of ancient marriage, and it contains six kinds. The second part is about the custom of marriage, we discuss it from two aspects: wedding ceremony and the time of wedding.The second chapter main discusses about the banquet and liquor, and separate it into three kinds of forms: the empire treats the officials who do great things to him, the officials treat each other to entertainment themselves and fix the communication and the officials treat the folks who do good job . We discuss about the three forms and analyze the affections of the modern society. And about the liquor .The third part combines the culture of clan, research it from the worship of god, ancestors and nature to uncover something about the original religious.In the history of Chinese developing, Thou Dynasty is a very important period . It inherent the original person's habits and influent the following person. The Book of Songs is near to that period. We do research on The Book of Songs can know something about the culture of that society.
