MOU Zong-san is one of the leading academics of modern Neo-Confucianism. Throught the research of Pre-Qin and the Confucianism of Song-Ming dynasty, and the comparision of Confucianism and Kant, he defined Confucianism to be the Moral metaphysics, and put forward two standpoints in Xinti and Xingti: First, the Confucianism of Song-Ming dynasty can be divided into three systems; Second, ZHU Xi did not follow the orthodoxy of Confucianism, but the branches. These view points relatedly to historic position of ZHU Xi and redefinition of the basic spirit of Confucianism, and involves the renewal and development of Confucianism, and the direction and function of China's modernazition and the value meaning of contemporary world. According to the reasons above, this text mainly bases on Xinti and Xingti to make a comprehensive judgement of MOU Zong-san's research about the thoughts of ZHU Xi, thinking that theories basis of MOU Zong-san's judging, which is only to be without inaction, non-moral creation, division of Xin and Li, and the morals becoming other-discipline etc, are not certainty, and make a new rejudgement; putting forward questions which located morals to Moral metaphysics and makes the morals behavior of the standard evaluation with the self-discipline morals. This text also pointed out existent shortage in MOU Zong-san's research on the thoughts of ZHU Xi, namely: Carry on the analysisi only through the philosophy way, but neglect the research of social history background toward the ancient thoughts, that has caused a division of logic and history easily and falling into the old rut with metaphysics thinking; only with the standpoint of XinXue, it is hard to attain objective judgment in the research; only with western modern philosophy idea and category, it will be very difficult to reach a scientific, overall understanding of traditional thoughts. At the last of this text, the author points out that we should keep the subjective character of traditional culture, avoid every each factors that can result in wrong cultual fixed positon when we experiences the exchanges of different cultures, contemporary scholars should treat foreign culture with open, the more equal mindset.
