Dmitry borisovich kabalevsky is an important composer , musical educator,musical socialist in 20th in Soviet Union. This article selects "24 Prelude for paino" in its maturation period,and takes with the harmonic technique as the research object,and attempts to explore Kabalevsky's harmonic technical characteristic and the style characteristic. The article uses the method of the summary induction.Through the combes and classification in the chord structure, and the harmony,and the tonality of the work,discussed kabalevsky's diversify harmonic language, and lays the foundation of further systematical study on kabalevsky's musical technique.This article divides into five parts.The first chapter is outline, and divides into two parts,namely the summary on kabalevsky's biography and the"24 Piano Prelude". This chapter introduced the composer's biography, music achievement and the context of the society,history and culture, as well as the essential feature and the important status in the composer's creation of "24 Prelude for piano".The following three chapters are the main body of the article.the Second chapter carries on the classification to the chord structure shape of "24 Prelude for piano ",and gives the careful elaboration from tertian chord, the non-tertian chord, the compound chord,separately based on the linear principle chord.The Third chapter has made the concrete analysis on the non-functional harmony in the work , and elaborates from three aspects involved the cadence belt progresstion, the sustained sound. The fourth chapter manifests magnified phenomenon on the traditional foundation of the tonality in the work, discusses the composer's individual processing way in tonality from from the interior change of tonality, the Complication of the relation of tonality. The conclusion made the induction summary to the harmonic technique characteric of "24 Prelude for piano " on the second, third, fourth chapter foundation of classified research to explain the value, the significance of the work as well as summary appraisal to kabalevsky's musical creation.
