Harmony Analysis Of Li Yinghai's Piano Works

Mr. Li Yinghai is famous music educator, composer and music campaigner. Not only had he been devoting research of national music theory but also composing at the same time. He had written in many music fields, such as vocal music, instrumental music, movie, opera, dance and so on. But his piano piece has a high place and influence in music in China. Mr. Li Yinghai's skills of writing especially in harmonic technology was varied and mingling of East-West, explored with diversified. Wrote vivid music works of national style, inherited tradition and opened up innovation. He had made a grate contribution towards prosperous and development of national music as well as music educational business.It is analyzed in the article that how the harmonic skill was applied in Mr. Li Yinghai's work. There was every kind of harmonic technique of East-West borrowing each other and he pursued national style consciously that is an important characteristic in his music.There are three chapters in this paper. It is elaborated that how apply the harmonic technique from chord structure, section development, relationship of harmonic function and colour, harmonic progression of linear structure, mode arrangement and tonality, application of ornament in Mr. Li's piano piece.
