This article mainly discusses the transformation of the concept"Nature"in Wei Jin period (Wei, Jin, and Southern and Northern Dynasties A.D.220- A.D.581)and its influence of aesthetic culture at that time. In the pre-Qin days (i.e. before 221 B.C. when the First Emperor of Qin united China), Laozi and Zhuangzi regarded"Nature"as the highest principle, thinking the concept of Nature as natural things or original conditions of natural things. To the Han Dynasty (206 B.C.-A.D.220), Nature was connected with the human, and showed a tendency to humanity. In Wei Jin period, the understanding of"Nature"had the fundamental transformation to concentrate on the internal personality and temperament of human beings for the first time. This is a significant transformation. In the aesthetic culture, people transformed from the past objective world to the subjective world, in the literature and arts, people's behavior and the aesthetic conceptions all got the huge influence.The paper can be divided into three parts:Part One reviews the concept"Nature"before the Wei and Jin period. In Part One, we conducts the research to the transformation of"Natural"concept . In Wei Jin period ,the Lao Zhuang advocated nature, opposed artificiality, they advocated"nature"is the source of cosmic and all of things, is the development and transformation rule of all things. The Lao zi proposed"dao and principle of nature", pursued nature original condition. Zhuangzi also advocated"nature", he understood"nature"had the natural beauty tendency. In Han dynasty ,the"nature"concept of Dong Zhongshu characteristic is " sky and human interaction" the idea occupies the dominant status, Wangchong is understanding"nature"is"the sun nature","the myriad things all nature". The concept"Nature"in Han Dynasty connected with the human, and showed a tendency to humanity.Part Two discusses the transformation of"Nature"concept in Wei Jin period. During this period, the concept of Nature was changing from the objective world to the subjective world, that is the inner temperament and mind. Liu Shao, San Cao,Wang Bi, He Yan, Ji Kang, Ruan Ji, Guo Xiang and Liu Xie are all representatives of this change.Part Three analyzes the transformation of the concept"Nature"from the aspect of aesthetic culture. In figure evaluate , people concerns more about the temperament and talents to emphasize the beauty of personality; in poetry, inner sadness and distress are expressed to embody the beauty of reality; in painting and calligraphy, a free life is described to pursue the beauty of verve and in music, unhappiness is implicated to give vent to the beauty of life consciousness.
