Renzong Toward The Poetry

Throne of Emperor Renzong of north song dynasty has special significance when the song poem tended towards the peak. In Parnassus,although there were not great masters at that time, some poets who had similar object began to affiliate with each other . Meanwhile ,Poets' communities constituted one by one, such as JingCheng poets'community ,XiJing poets ' community , JingDong poets ' community, The latter Xikun poets And The early Lixue poets .Those poets constantly tried to influence the poem style and explore the new road of the poem development. Just because of their untiring endeavor ,"the reform of poem and article"leaded by Ouyangxiu has achieved great fullfillment. The thesis describes the style and features of the poem during this period through the analyse and study to those Poets' communities. This thesis is mainly divided into four Chapters:Chapter One deals with the historical and culuture background of the whole throne of Emperor Renzong from three aspects, prosperity, crisis and reform. Some positive policies since the North Song dynasty established made the prosperity, but proper abuse under the arbitrary system induced many crises. Meanwhile ,those scholar-bureaucrats with responsibility carried on trial for change.Under such background, the parnassus also presents the situation that a kind of desire of change.Chapter Two inverstigates three poet's communities of JingCheng poets ' community ,XiJing poets ' community and JingDong poets ' community respectively. The JingCheng poets appeared to resist the Xikun style and tried to return to the acients. XiJing poets is under the loose-fitting living environment, pursuing the delightfully fresh nature. JingDong poets even could overdid and represented the self-indulgent attitude in the process of reform.Chapter Three investigats the latter Xikun poets and the early Lixue poets. Although they had't the behavior of the community definitely, their works presented some commonness. The latter Xikun poets continued the Xikun style,but they had some attempt to change .The early Lixue poets expressed in-depth thought.Chapter Four is a case study, the FanZhongYan and ZhangFangPing are all the famous officials . Though their verse achievement are not too famous, their verse value can't be neglected. Their verse on one hand shows the time spirit, on the other hand contributes the new elements to the development of poem at that time.
