Shendu town belongs to Shexian county and Shendu Dialect is part of Jishe area in Anhui Dialect. In this thesis we made an elaborate description in the phonetic system of Shendu Dialect and through the comparison with the mid-ancient phonetic system, we summarized the phonological features of Shendu Dialect. After that, we mainly discuss two special phonetic phenomenons of Shendu Dialect: one is the lateral spirant (?), the other one is the initials'literal-colloquial differences of Kaikou Er'deng Jian-xi(见系)characters.There are five chapters in this thesis; from Chapter Two to Chapter Four are the main parts. Chapter One is the prolegomenon, Chapter Two is the description of the phonetic system of Shendu Dialect. Chapter Three is the first special topic—lateral spirant. In comparison with the minority nationality languages, we made a conclusion that the lateral spirant (?) existing in Shendu and other towns in the south part of Shexian county is a lingual integration phenomenon of Chinese dialects and minority languages. It has a minority language layer under the surface of Chinese dialct. In Chapter Four we mainly discuss the second special topic—the palatalization of Kaikou Er'deng Jian-xi(见系)characters. In Shendu Dialect, there are several different layers contrasting with other places. In this part we try to find the differences between these layers in Xie-she(蟹摄)/Jia-she(假摄)/Xiao-she(效摄) as well as the original places where they come from. At the end of the thesis there is a brief introduction of the lexical and grammar features in Shendu Dialct.
