"Jian Deng Xin Hua" which was written by Qu You occupied an important position and set a new trend in the novel history of Ming Dynasty. Pastiches continued in later generations, and then a hot trend to write novels in the style of"Jian Deng" generated a serie of novels in Ming Dynasty. Writers such as Feng Menglongnd Ling Mengchu sought for materials from the "Jian Deng Xin Hua" and adapted them into colloquial fictions. There are totally ten operas which were rewritten from "Jian Deng Xin Hua". "Jian Deng Xin Hua" also had a tremendous impact on the East Asian Chinese cultural circle. However, people have paid little attention on "Jian Deng Xin Hua", and the evaluations were not very high. Since the beginning of the 1990s, literature circle has begun to pay more attention to "Jian Deng Xin Hua". But most of the researches were in general. Thus this thesis attempts to tap the special aesthetic value of "Jian Deng Xin Hua" again, explore the value and impact of it systematically, and study the similarities and differences between it and its pastiches by read their main texts carefully.Apart from introduction, this thesis is divided into five parts:The first part analyzes the ideological contents of "Jian Deng Xin Hua", and explains its uniqueness in the ideological and aesthetic value considering the life experience of Qu You. The author experienced the chaos caused by war between the end of Yuan and the beginning of Ming Dynasty. Taking this war as a background, "Jian Deng Xin Hua" wrote out the special spirit of people in the chaos, thus revealed the character of "Chaos Literature" by building three key worlds: the world of love, the inner world of scholars and the world of ghosts. The second part studied the effects of"Jian Deng Xin Hua" on the classic novels. Directly under the influence of "Jian Deng Xin Hua", Li Changqi wrote "Jian Deng Yu Hua". Then pastiches were generated constantly, and a trend of"Jian Deng" series of novels was formed in the end. The "Jian Deng Yu Hua" imitated "Jian Deng Xin Hua" in the system and theme, but demonstrated the transition from emphasizing sentiment to rational motives in terms of ideology. The differences between the two novels were elaborated in a specific chapter in this thesis. "Xiao Pin Ji" and "Mi Deng Yin Hua" put more emphasis on moral teachings which were very far away from the ideology of "Jian Deng Xin Hua". But as important pastiches, these two novels are also outlined in this thesis. Because "Liao Zhai Zhi Yi" was also affected by "Jian Deng Xin Hua", some specific relevant contents between them were analyzed. The third part explores the influences of "Jian Deng Xin Hua" on colloquial fictions. "Jian Deng Xin Hua" and its pastiches contained some ideological inclinations of residents of the city, and had similar writing manipulation in the workswith colloquial fictions. So it has become favorite original material by some colloquial fictions' writers such as Feng Menglong and Ling Mengchu. This part studies the reason of "Jian Deng Xin Hua" having influences on colloquial fictions and the breakthroughs in the colloquial fictions on the basis of"Jian Deng Xin Hua".The fourth part tries to disclose the influence of"Jian Deng Xin Hua" on creation of later operas. There were totally five chapters in "Jian Deng Xin Hua" which have been rewritten to ten operas. These chapters were chosen by opera writers on the basis of their singular circumstances and plots. Due to the differences in personality of riters and the times to rewrite the opera works, these rewritten operas have various extents of success, but reflect to revert to the traditional features on the whole. The fifth part deals with the overseas spread of "Jian Deng Xin Hua". Pastiches of"Jian Deng Xin Hua" appeared in South Korea, Vietnam and Japan. The spread of "Jian Deng Xin Hua" in these three countries and the differences and similarities between "Jian Deng Xin Hua" and "Jin Ao Xin Hua" of South Korea, "Chuan Qi Man Lu" of Vietnam or "Yu Yue Wu Yu" of Japan were described separately in this part of the thesis. Considering the condition that a lot of academic expositions on "Jin Ao Xin Hua" have being provided by South Korean scholars and detailed demonstrations on "Chuan Qi Man Lu" was already shown in a book, Comparative Study Between Jian Deng Xin Hua And Chuan Qi Man Lu, written by Chen Yiyuan from Taiwan, these two pastiches were described briefly. But the comparative studies between "Yu Yue Wu Yu" and "Jian Deng Xin Hua" are relatively lacking now. Therefore, the influences of "Jian Deng Xin Hua" on "Yu Yue Wu Yu" were described and expounded more detailedly in this part.
