Higher Art Education In The Development Process Of The Yanbian Korean Study

This paper, through the charactristics of Yanbian Korean ethnic community, willanalyse the effect of social environment and background on the course of advancedarts, and sort out the developing situations and features of advanced arts in everystage in Yanbian. The stages of advanced arts in Yanbian can be divided into two parts, the formed stage and the multiply developed statge, of advanced art education for Yanbian Korean ethnic community.The formed stage of advanced art education in Yanbian dates back to 1951, when Yanbian Normal school and Yanbian University started 'Artistic skill calss'. Korean ethnic's art in Yanbian, which can be considered as non-origin tradition, started totally absorbing outside, under the condition only with a blank piece of paper. Meanwhile, with the current and changes of times, the fresh motif of the artistic effect mabe it possible to be studied and developed, realizing its rooting in Yanbian Therefore, the development of art in Yanbian, we can say, is based on western paintings. However, during 10 years of upheaval, Yanbian art struggled its way in twists and turns, which was a heavy blow to Yanbian artistic education. From the middle of 1980s to the end of 1980s, with the trend of reform and opening to the world, it entered a time of great prosperity, not only creating outstanding works but also developing lots of qualified personnel. After 1990, with the thorough reform and opening to the world, and with the buiding of market-oriented economy system, cultural art went deeply into every field of commodity, which resulted in consumption-oriented culture. Besides, the impact of western culture arouse the ardour of Yanbian people's going abroad. Under the such social background, the art development in Yanbian also entered mutiply developed stage, especially since 1996, when Yanbian Universtiy merged, great progress has been made in the art education. Now, there are three specialties offered, eight special orientations, and the number of the stubents is increasing in large scale.The changes of environment and times have important effect on the development of art education in Yanbian District. But the charateristics should take the precedence of any others. In other words words, Korean people's both inner and original aesthetic features play an important role in the art education. For example, different aeasthetic feelings and different aeasthetic taste will produce different works of art. So it can be said that aeasthetic features "are subjective, while the features of environment and times are objective. These three factors affect each other, indispensable. And these are just the reasons that Yanbian Korean ethnic's art is different from others in other parts of China, different from the ones in Russia, North Korean and South Korea. The focus of this paper is to illustrate the development of advanced art education in Yanbian in evey stage revolving round social formation, aeasthetic points and psychological features.
