The "s + / / With O + Xp" Structure, Syntactic And Semantic Inspection

The prepositions "dui/xiang/gen" are all used to introduce the object of an action,and sometimes they can collocate with the same verbs or verb phrases. Thesesimilarities are not only related to the preposition word meaning itself, but alsoconcerns with the verb semantic characteristic. This article studies is in the foundationof the predecessor, the reference grammar theory and the cognition linguistics theory,from the syntax, the semantic side faces the preposition "dui/xiang/gen" carries on thedescription and the analysis on its constitution structure "S+dui/xiang/genO+XP".This article mainly constitutes by five parts.First chapter is the introduction, has transferred this article research object andthe research technique, the research goal and the research significance, predecessor'sresearch present situation, and has transferred this article language material origin.In the second chapter, this article first discussed the semantic role which theobject of preposition "O" often introduces: Direction, Object, Patient, and Dative. Itcan be said that, the different grammar scientist has not the same semantic rolenaming essentially. In this chapter, our emphasis put on to the semantic role semanticcharacteristic analysis, but neglect the difference which various grammars scientistbecause differently name brings. The reason that we must discuss the semantic rolethe characteristic is because that if we want to analyze three prepositions applicationmethod same or is different, we must analyze inspects in front of three prepositionsfirst specially that lie between to the object semantic role which directs to give thelocalization, and found in the sentence between the main predicate verb and the objectsemantic relations, can carry on the comparison in between three prepositionsconstitutions structure. Therefore, the preposition object semantics role analysis isprepares for the behind concrete inspection.In the third chapter, this article predicate the structure "S+dui/xiang/genO+XP"from the center verb or the adjective characteristic, the preposition object semanticrole characteristic, as well as the preposition itself significance three aspects, separate-ly to "dui/xiang/gen" the syntax structure which three can appear together carries onthe description and the analysis, inspects under each preposition not synonymy item, can enter in the structure specifically acts as "S", "O" and "XP" the syntax ingredientas well as semantic relations between them.In the fourth chapter, this article in the first two chapter of foundations, from thepredicate center word characteristic, the preposition semantics role characteristic, aswell as the preposition itself significance three aspects analyzes the preposition"dui/xiang/gen" in the common syntax structure exploitation conditions and thereplace rule, finally separately carries on the explanation from the grammar angle andthe cognition linguistics angle to the syntax phenomenon.The final chapter is the concluding remarks.
