Xunzi's dialectical theory was a culmination of the School ofLogicians in pre-Qin dynasty period. However, predecessors on dialecticaltheory of pre-Qin times tended to pay more attention to their logicalexplanation, which had kept them far away from Xunzi's will, because oftheir purely logical form without any valuable contents. Actually, Xunzi'sdialectical theory is not only a logical theory, but also politicalethics. Behind its logical form lies deeper levels of meaning of value andpolitical pursuit. The intention of Xunzi's theory is the rationality andeffectiveness of Social Ethics Order. This article takes the excavation of the political implication fromXunzi's dialectial theory as a basic research clue, and points out that"dispelling blindness", "using names correctly " "making propositions"and "unifying disputation" are the essence of Xunzi's dialectial theory;"advocating rationally and stating with perfect logic" are. the logicalstandards of Xunzi's disputation; saying in ritual principles is an"acceptable" standard of Xunzi's disputation theory; "establishing highstandards of correctness" is the fundamental starting point and destination.Xunzi wanted to "silence the dissolute theories" and "defy disputation"through disputing "on the way". Xunzi also declared that the"contention of hundreds schools of thought" and chaotic situation isover, thus to establish standardized and unified public discourse space andeventually to realize the ideological conformity and unified cultural andpolitical uniformity. It has not only laid an important ideologicalfoundation for the Qin Dynasty unification, but also paved the way for the subsequent Authoritarian thinking which has lasted for more than 2000years.
