Children and masters have a lot in common. In production psychology, they can all enter into a free and fetterless state of relaxing and self-obliviousness; in production process, they all use pens and paints boldly and same plain lines to express their strong affection from the bottom of heart. Artists begin to feel and recall their childhoods on their own initiative and re-perform their experience as a child.Despite their affirmation on the significance of children's painting, artists only attend to the trifles and neglect the essentials when they are trying to learn from the children's painting. In fact, most modern artists are just learning from the graphics and the forms of children's. However, the fundamental characteristic of children's painting is an involuntary state in which a child paints freely and self-obliviously. Only proceeding from this significance, can artists come to realize what to learn from the children. To paint as a child, does not mean to learn their graphics and forms, but try to paint in the same psychology as a child has, because children's production comes from the needs of their inbeing and basic energy of lives. Therefore, the most important job for artists is to revert to the essential appearance of the painting and enter into a free and fetterless psychology state when paint. From this significance, to study children's painting and paint as a child is obviously an effective way for artists to build up a free psychology state. The thesis analyzes specifically the importance of free psychology state in painting from the aspects of imagination, immanent resonance and its forms, and free unbosom of affections, by giving in-depth analysis on the factors of children's free painting and combining the practice of artists. The thesis points out that art works should be produced in an involuntary state with self-consciousness. It is because of the surging between involuntariness and self-consciousness that artists can constantly return to their natural instincts, get close to their hearts, display their hearts and even go beyond that. Besides, the thesis also affords some practical suggestion and basic principles against the present barriers and ignorance to the free psychology state in painting, which are expected to be of some guidance towards future art productions.
