Zhuangzi's Philosophy Of The Modern Connotation Of Ecological Ethics

Along with the constant development of human civilization, the environment is getting worse and worse; people began to reflect on the relationship between human beings and the environment. To find a solution to the crisis between human beings and the environment, Western Ecological Ethics came. With the global environmental crisis and the pollution produced in the process of Chinese economic and social development, China is in the face of environmental problems. Chinese scholars have also started actively to explore the ecological ethic. This article was written mainly for two purposes. First,to understand the latest situation of the development of the Western Ecological Ethics; second, to analyze about the current situation of the academic study about the Western Ecological Ethics in China. In order to find a reasonable position and the value of Chinese traditional culture in the process of constructing the modern ecological ethics.This article chooses Chuang-tzu philosophy as a platform to study the relation on Ecological Ethics between Chinese tradition and Western Ecological Ethics. The most important purpose of the article is to solve these questions: Whether Chinese tradition culture and Modern Western Ecological Ethics can make a dialogue on the meaning of ecological ethic? What is the meaning of modern ecological ethics in Chuang-tzu philosophy?In addition to this introduction, there are two chapters.Chapter 1: The latest ecological ethics studies in western culture as well as Chinese tradition; the latest studies on Chuang-tzu Philosophy on ecological ethics.Chapter 2: The implication of Chuang-tzu Philosophy compare with the Modern Ecological Ethics: The essence of the Chuang-tzu philosophy;The meaning of modern ecological ethics in Chuang-tzu Philosophy.
