Study On Ecological Ethics In The Construction Of Ecological Civilization In China

As the world's second largest economy and the world's largest industrial producer,China is suffering the pressure from ecological problems,the tension between human and natural resources as well as the ecological civilization construction which all need the service of ecological ethics thought.Ecological ethics extends the scope of ethical object from the field of human beings and society to life and nature,and provides an ethical perspective to think about the problems arising from the development of society,making people criticize and reflect on the past and present industrial production modes,life styles along with the accompanied values.Ecological ethics is an integral part of ecological civilization,which belongs to the field of social ideology as ecological civilization does,as a theory to promote and guide the harmonious development among human,nature and society,the two are unified,but for the development of history,ethics appears first and then it comes the civilization.Ecological ethics thought,from theory and practice,promotes the construction of ecological civilization and firmly establishes the concept of ecological civilization,the ultimate goal and final destination of which is to achieve ecological civilization,meanwhile,ecological civilization should also be theoretically supported by ecological ethics.This paper,through expounding the ecological ethics thought in Chinese traditional culture,the ecological ethics thought in the west,the ecological ethics thought of Marxism and the construction of socialist ecological ethics thought with Chinese characteristics,employed methods such as materialistic dialectics,the combination of theory and practice,as well as the unification of logical analysis and historical analysis to analyze and explore the problems regarding ecological ethics in China's ecological civilization construction.In addition,by absorbing the essence of domestic and overseas research achievements of ecological ethics,this paper established a holistic ecological ethics thought in the construction of ecological civilization,grasped the relationship among human,nature and society according to the ethical principle of intra-generational equity,intergenerational equity and man-earth equity,and put forward some suggestive countermeasures under the premise of ensuring the relatively fair development of these three aspects.The actual specific conditions of our country shows that it is far from enough to realize the coordinated development of economy,society and ecology only relying on policies,laws and technologies,etc.,we still need to update and improve our country's ecological ethics theory system,strengthen ecological civilization construction,cultivate ecological concept among all the people,establish reasonable supervision channels,and enhance governance and management capabilities together with other specific actions.Through the establishment and practice of ecological ethics thought's values,concepts,moral principles,moral principles as well as code of conduct,we not only try to reduce ecological problems,but endeavor to realize the harmonious development among human,nature and society,and vigorously promote the construction of ecological civilization,thus providing new content for building and enriching the theoretical system of ecological civilization.
