Design Of Modern Thinking In The Art

Chinese contemporary art design is losing its unique expression. In the process of learning western art design, we just simply copy the form and get content with superficial understanding while getting apart from our tradition. This paper researches the western culture and modern society to find out the root of modern art design, touch those great designers' heart with the expectation of meaningful findings.This paper researches western scholars' viewpoints on the culture modernity and western contemporary society and post-modernity, and it deeply analyzes their influence on the art design. Through learning three representative art designers' design idea and works, it realizes that the essence of art design is expressing a contact of the whole world which makes our observation point more flexible and our design concept more profound. Finally it gets the following conclusion: The modernity of thinking has a great value on art design, in our era we should take Chinese unique way of understanding to create our design philosophy which embodies connotation and spirit of our culture.Only rely on our own culture and inherit our own tradition can we absorb the splendid consciousness and methods overseas, then we digest it and construct our original design philosophy. Only in this way that the Chinese design can be recognized by the world.
