Institute Initiative, Expressed By The Intellectuals

The narrative and description of the intellectuals is a motif of modern literature. In the 1990s, as intellectuals in institute, writers came out in bulk, thus, cultural personality of intellectuals was deep searched and multi-dimensional wrote. Through discussing the role of social, cultural identity and ethical issues by a series of the images of intellectuals in institute, exploring these literary narrative discourse manners, and studying related policy and institute in the era of historical transition, I will discuss the "activity" of writing subject as intellectuals in institute. On this basis I will raise some issues related to intellectuals covered by this theme: how intellectuals in institute reconsider themselves? How should we understand the mission of intellectuals? What is the location of them own? How to recognize the power of representation of intellectuals in institute in the era of social transition? Therefore I attempt to further explore this sort of literary narrative with a new perspective, briefly sort out narrative of intellectuals in institute in different eras, abstract developing process of representing "activity" of intellectuals in institute as writing subject, find out the similarity of narrative texture and spiritual structure, and show a collection personal subject always been: intellectuals in institute.In this paper, the task is not to clarify the concept of intellectuals and intellectuals in institute. This is a historical and relative concept by time and space constraints, and sighting into it from any angle may also obscure the significance of another kind, I do not have this ability. I just want to for the first divide them by professional status combining the relevant statements, then on the basis discuss the changes of the status and function of intellectuals in institute through activity that is moral commitment and self-achievement, etc. This is only a sort of statement strategies and study perspectives. As to whether a writer should be defined as intellectual, this is not the problem to answer in this paper. The task of this paper is not to comprehensive search for the historical trace of the changes of writers'status and functions and the size of their activity. I just want to objectively present the situation of the representative novel narrative of intellectuals in institute since the 1990s.
