Bengtsson Tempered Clavier Set Fugue

Niels Viggo Bentzon is a composer and a pianist in Danish. He recognized the most outstanding,enjoying the reputation of the world following Nelson in Danish ,who graduated from the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music. He's life has created more than 630 works. Between 1964-1996,he has created Det tempererede klaver ('The Tempered Klavier'),vols.Ⅰ-ⅩⅢ,13 hourlong collections each of which consists of 24 preludes and 24 fugues.This paper based on the work of one of'The Tempered Klavier',vols.Ⅰ-ⅩⅢ, 24 works in it are analyzed and studied from the point views of the relations between preludes and fugues,fugue structure and polyphonic techniques. Paper was cutting to the point from chapter one'overall structure'and chapter two polyphonic techniques, for aggregated composer's innovation.More attention is expected from science world to the composer which enjoying the reputation of the world and in the non-mainstream music country by the analysis in this paper,and more acknowledgement and understanding is expected for the other Bentzon's polyphonic works. This paper can be a good reference for the teaching content and creation of modern polyphonic music in our courtry.
