This category usually has emphases on both portrait and interest in terms of art characteristics. In its contents, it almost includes all aspects of social life and re-present us the racial and regional cultures and lifestyles of various eras in human history. Thus we can, as much as possible, realize the appreciation and pursuit of beauty. This article discusses and analyzes the contents of genre paintings on a certain basis and focuses on the angles of appreciation of beauty, typology and characteristics of Chinese traditional genre paintings, in order to render the further discussions. |
