Based Internet Applications, 2d Cartoon Art Design

With the advent of the Internet Era, Artists have acquired an opportunity once again to breakthrough the traditional audio-visual expression and to open up a new form of art. As a special art form, relying on its culture which is similar to the Internet, cartoon is applied to the Internet widely with the information revolution and the rising of the Internet Art.Based on the specialties of Internet-intermedium, in addition to the traditional styling features, 2D-Cartoon based on Internet-application has developed some new styling features which are practical. For the Cartoon Art itself, These new features not only enriched the styles and expressions of Cartoon Art which has acquired deeper meaning and broader outreach, but also inevitably produced some new problems such as the limitations of styles and the decline of art level and so on. How can fully enjoying the convenience of technology while avoiding the negative impacts of technique is the issue must be resolved in the creation of Internet-based Cartoon. Therefore, it is important to study the styles and technique of Internet-based 2D-Cartoon.Based on the traditional styles of classic Cartoon Art and the current techniques of Internet-based 2D-Cartoon, This paper summed up the features of Internet-based 2D-Cartoon mainly in two ways: the expressions of Cartoon Art and the needs of Internet technology. At the same time, by the aimed studying on a large number of instances, This paper analyzed the common-used styling methods of Internet-based 2D-Cartoon by the numbers, then discussed the reasons for the occurrence and the pros and cons of these styling methods from the technical, social, commercial, cultural and other sides.
