Baudrillard "ultra-aesthetic Thinking

According to his studies from the consumer society of the sign to the simulation age, step by step, aesthetics and art semioticizationally extend and penetrate in everyday life, then with the bursting of limits, they lose their distinctive qualities and autonomy, at last, in"the fractal stage of value", which is also a stage of uncertainty and confusion, and in"the mode of disappearance", which is also a mode of nihilism, aesthetics and art, like anything else, coming to an end by means of senseless and interminable simulation, proliferation, and a fractal mode of dispersal.The thought of Baudrillard's"transaesthetics"starts from the background of the West's postmodern society, it seizes the features of the extension of consumer culture, the rapid development of high-tech, especially of mass media, etc, and has powerful elucidation for the current situation of cultural transformation, development and changes of aesthetics in contemporary society, then brings enlightenment and warning to us. But his thought is not a constructive one, and has its limitations and one-sidedness. This situation requires that we should analyze his thought of"transaesthetics"with dialectical and critical methods. We hope the study, interpretation, critical analyses and thinking of his theory will provide further beneficial references for us to enrich aesthetic theories and to think cultural and aesthetic issues of our society today.
