From Zhuzhici Early Years Before The Social Outlook Of The Shanghai Area

In recent years, some scholars have devoted themselves to compiling ZhuZhi poems of Shanghai. And the production is beneficial to the research of the social and economic history. A large number of ZhuZhi poems are of great value to study the Shanghai history. The old view holds that the custom and the trend of humanity development of Shanghai used to be similar to other regions in"Wu"and"Yue"districts. However, according to the local topography and ZhuZhi poems and the different geographical environment, we found the products structure and custom in different districts are various. Thus, we try to make further analyze. From ZhuZhi poem, we make a conclusion: politics and economics environment result in various mode of production, it exerts diverse influence on the people's life, consumption notion, aesthetic taste, belief and morality. It provides a foundation for us to remold Shanghai's image.The foreword generalizes developing process and its historical values of ZhuZhi poem, and makes a brief review to the previous ZhuZhi poem research,pointing out the weak link and offering own opinion on the analysis of metropolis mental of unopened Shanghai. The method with study is also handed over here.The first chapter analyzes the authors of ZhuZhi poem and gets three historical data values of the poem: First,the quantity of the poem is numerous, it reflects a wide span of time and space ;Second, the identities of the author is complicated,covering from the elite to the masses, making the various public angles reflected in the poem; Third,the contents involved are extensive, which provided veritable and trusty information.The second chapter is based on unopened Shanghai's politics and economics environment to get a result that Shanghai is a typical commercial city. High development of textile industry makes cottage industry become the primary income to a family. The natural economy system is broken and the mode of production become more diverse.The third chapter probes into people's consumptive power. Make a contrast between the rich and the common people about the condition of life. Define extravagance which is pursued after by most people at that time. After analyzing several imagoes, we find a rational consumptive concept in this district.The forth chapter seeing about the traditional culture of unopened Shanghai from the two angles, folk entertainment and folk belief. After analyzing the amount and the structure of population, we detect the moral code is changed. We use a unique perspective on this article, trying to revert to the unopened social of Shanghai by investigating the metropolis mental which is neglected for a long time.
