As China's political, economic and cultural center, drama activities in Nanjing was showing the growing prosperity situation in late Ming Dynasty, with important research value. This paper includes four chapters, and focus on the activities related with dram in Nanjing in late Ming Dynasty, such as the drama-related activities of the scholar, the writing, the relationship between Party struggles and drama activities in the Nanjing, the development of Kunqu Opera in Nanjing, noble families, professional organizations and Qinhuai brothel which promote the development and prosperity of Kunqu Opera, and the growing prosperity drama activities and cultural identities in Qinhuai in Late Ming Dynasty.The introduction expounds the reasons and significance, analysis the current research status of drama activities in Late Ming Dynasty in Nanjing, and also has a summary of the characteristics and innovation of this issue.Chapter one is about the drama scholars in late Ming dynasty in Nanjing, including the Nanjing local drama writers and their writings, writers from other places, drama critic, drama performers from noble families, professional organizations and Qinhuai brothel, as well as those who love drama performance called 'Chuanke'. This chapter does a lot in the scholars in its entirety, and also focuses on the two representatives of drama scholars, Tang Xianzu and Pan Zhiheng who promote the Nanjing drama activities prosperity.Throughout the development Kunqu Opera in Nanjing, Kunqu Opera gradually replaced other singings and became the dominant singing in Late Ming Dynasty. Kunqu Opera was an important symbol as the activities related with dram in Nanjing in late Ming Dynasty. The important thing that needs further exploration is that at Late Ming Dynasty, noble families, professional organizations and Qinhuai performance claimed credit for the development of Kunqu Opera. Therefore, Chapter two focus of study of he development of Kunqu Opera, the main communication form of Kunqu Opera, that are noble families, professional organizations and Qinhuai .including performers and Kunqu Opera performance.In Late Ming Dynasty, drama activities were inseparable from the political influence. Throughout the Ming Dynasty, Party struggle is a very significant political phenomenon. From Wanli, party struggle became much clearer and had an important impact on drama activities in Nanjing. Chapter three focus on the impact of Party struggles on the political identity of drama activities in Nanjing, Including the contacts of Tang Xianzu and Donglin Party members, the relationship between the creation of Zi Chai Ji and Party struggles, as well as the creation and performance Shi Chao Si Zhong by Ruan Dacheng,, who was defeated in Party struggles, and the relationship between them and Party struggles.Brothels have always been an important place to perform drama. In Late Ming, with the decline of Sixteen Lou, Qinhuai gradually became the most prosperous place, where brothels located. Both performance forms and places of Qinhuai drama activities showed diverse characteristics. And there was also a group of Qinhuai singing gills, who were good at kum, chess, writing, painting, performs and songs. With lofty national integrity, they and scholars showed the same interests and had love affairs one by one. Their close contacts played an important role in improving the performance of singing girls. Therefore, form focusing on the different forms and places of Qinhuai drama performance, the singing girls and their performance, Chapter four Finally reveal the reasons for the prosperity and the cultural identities of of Qinhuai drama activities.
