| This thesis, from the angle of vision and thought, regards installation art as a visual expression that treats matter's shape, literature and signs as its elementary parts, while artists' design, and their disposal of matter as it's grammar. It discusses the concept of matter and literature of installation art, installation art's attitude towards matter, people, and people's life, and the importance of visual expression of installation art and the way it differs from brushwork and sculpture. Meanwhile, this thesis makes a research on the vision and thought facts in the visual expression of installation art, discussing the connection between vision and thought when mix media is regarded as a methodology in the contemporary art. |
