1980's until now, culture collides take turn over and over again, the movie continually gathered the vision junction in new culture and the old culture struggle which brings the significant social transformation. The China traditional culture thought the family is the national symbol. Under this kind of influence, the movie represents the conflict between father and son to symbolize that new culture challenges old culture. New culture wants to transcend old culture and to win the right to speak. They try to re-establish social order. The article introduces Motif theory in order to summarize changes in patricide behavior and culture implication. The Patricide Motif in the movie after 1980's is considered as research object. The article researches the object horizontal and vertical from multi-angle.In the paper, author combines the Western Folklore Motif and China Confucian culture, starting with patricide imago literature, to probe into Patricide Motif in the movie. In the course of the study, the paper firstly from the motivation, behavior, the result of the patricide to completed study the interpretation elements. Secondly, according to the text features and the specific films, divide into of five types, kill father, reject father, judge father, blaspheme father, fatherlessness to discuss the same figures in the movie. Through Patricide Motif development in the film, it analyses the deep cultural connotation and reflections on the social changes brought about the ideological collision.
