In the researching history of ChuCi, Liu Xizai was a scholar which played a very important role. As it were, the research about Liu Xizai's researching ChuCi is the topic which is worth inquiring into very much, not only for researching ChuCi, but also for researching Liu Xizai. In this dissertation, the author uses the researching methods which are to link textual-reading to empirical studying, and to unify the academic researching history with the analysis of literary theory. It altogether divides six chapters.The first chapter is to discuss the time background of Liu Xizai's researching ChuCi. The time background of Liu Xizai's researching ChuCi is composed of the political context evolution, the academic idea promotion and the ChuCi researching growth.The second chapter is to discuss the artistic achievement of ChuCi in Liu Xizai's researching ChuCi. In the aspect about ChuCi researching, he changed the past way of noting and commentating, and paid great attention to studying thoroughly the medium, the structure, the ideal condition and the language in ChuCi from the artistic angle.The third chapter is to discuss the origin and influence of ChuCi in Liu Xizai's researching ChuCi. During the period of the origin and influence studying ChuCi, he mainly discussed the influence of ChuCi on the poems and odes of later ages as well as the succession to ShiJing and ancient folks .The fourth chapter is to discuss the researching methods in Liu Xizai reviewing ChuCi. He researched ChuCi by four kinds of criticism methods: meaning judged by thinking, multiple comparison, summary and enumeration and re-discussing old opinions, so that formed a series of special researching methods in the history of reviewing ChuCi.The fifth chapter is to discuss the reception of ChuCi in Liu Xizai' poem-ode. He succeeded in applying ChuCi learning to his writing. Not only in spiritual core, but also in the artistic style, ChuCi had quite an effect on his poem-ode.The sixth chapter is to discuss the Criterion of ChuCi about Liu Xizai reviewing Ci. He quoted ChuCi as the criterion of reviewing Ci in four aspects of Ci's body, Ci's personality, Ci's realm and Ci's design.The conclusion from above-mentioned is that Liu Xizai made the multi-aspects research about ChuCi. He was good at innovating while paying particular attention to inheritances, obtained the amazing achievement, and made a prominent academic achievement. As a result, he occupied the very important academic status of carrying forward the tradition and forging ahead into the future in the history of researching ChuCi.
