Lu Chunling Bamboo Flute Style

Lu Chunling, one of the bamboo flute representative personages of the south sect, is China's renowned bamboo flute concert performer in modern time and has made remarkable achievements in the performance of bamboo flute. The research and discussion of his bamboo flute performance style have positive significance to the adoption and development of Chinese traditional music and the enrichment of Chinese bamboo flute art history.From the aspect of style origin, style characteristic as well as their enlightenment on the development of bamboo flute, this paper analyzes Lu Chunling's performance style of bamboo flute. By using comparison and example, this paper mainly deals with Lu Chunling's performance style of bamboo flute from three angles, namely, music characteristic, technical characteristic and"stage demeanor".
