Existentialism was the Western popular philosophy ideological trend in the 20th century. Its ideological origins mainly comes from the Kierkegaard's mysticism, Nietzsche's voluntarism, Husserl's phenomenology philosophy and so on, Its main founder is German philosopher Heidegger, the one who existentialism will push to the crest is France's Sartre. The existentialism philosophy elaboration is not the abstract consciousness, the concept, the essential traditional philosophy, it pays great attention to exist, the life. But refers not to person's reality existence, but that the existence of the spirit, person's psychological consciousness (often is anxiety, despairs, fear and so on, non-rationally, and the morbid state subconscious) the same social being to oppose with individual reality existence, treats as the only real existence it.In the 1940s-1960s, existentialism with the presence of other modernism's philosophy, literary and artistic ideological trend has had a tremendous influence to the movie artistic creation, under all sorts of non-rationalism ideological trend's background, the Western movie's development reached the modernism peak period, showing a unique style of this period and significance. Ingma Bergman, Michelangelo Antonioni, Federico Fellini are modernist school movie masters who emerges at this time, simultaneously the French "New Wave" and the "Left Bank faction," the movie work also has the intense modernism characteristic, and the film also works with a strong and modern characteristics, the representative personage has Francois Truffaut, Jean Luc Godard, Alain Renais especially and so on, these directors to produce films presents the common feature is the existence is absurd, the development of life is no order, no law, denies the causal relation, emphasized the role of personal subjective factors, stressed person's intuition, instinct and subconscious, that rational understanding of the dynamic role and function that is not rational and reliable Only the sexual instinct performance is real. This is undoubtedly the existentialism philosophy in modernist school movie's manifestation.This paper seeks to explore the relationship between art and philosophy of the general problem, from classical to modern development process, Traces Lukacs's esthetics view and Benjamin's bright artistic form to the esthetics of film influence, critical analysis of philosophy under the influence of film theorists and artists on the basis of creativity , revealed that the focus of the film as a modernist art in the presence of philosophical thinking, and the last part also relates to the post- modernism trends of thought after the end of existentialism on the impact of film arts, And makes every effort to the esthetics of film and the Marxist philosophy intrinsic relatedness makes one to peep.
