Liangyuan Di And Jin Louzi Study

Xiao Yi,the emperor of Liang Dynasty,with his father Xiao Yan,and his brothers Xiao Tong and Xiao Gang are known as"Si Xiao".Xiao Yi's thought was a mixture of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism.As a legalist,he believed in Mohist School, the School of Logicians, and he was also a thinker of ancient China specializing in the art of war. Xiao Yi possessed the distinct characteristics of the Eclectic,so we call him a"Za Jia". Xiao Yi's personality incorporated those of politicians', scholars'and literators'into an organic whole.The Xiang Dong King's Group,which was leaded by Xiao Yi,had become one of the representatives of the new literary thoughts in late Liang Dynasty, relying on its independent style of creating.Xiao Yi wrote books in a large amount before death , but few of them can spread to today.Among Xiao Yi's works, the most important one is "Jin Lou Zi".As to this book, appraisal made by"catalogue of Si Ku Quan Shu " had served to show its value in academic history. However, as to so important a part of ancient books and records, the research for a long time has been rather scanty,especially on Xiao Yi's novel and pedagogic thinking.So I regard " Jin Lou Zi " as the center of my research,and at the same time, lay stress on the research about Xiao Yi's novel and pedagogic thinking.The purpose of my study is to remedy some blanks in the research field about Xiao Yi and "Jin Lou Zi" on the basis of inheriting predecessors' research results.
