Carmen composed by Bizat is the milestone of French opera history, and also is an opera with the highest performed rate in nowdays. In this paper, some music segments and idiographic performances were used as research content, the unification of manifold types of literature, practical singing and teaching and enhancement of teaching level was used as research thought, from the general to the idiographic, from the practical to the theoretical, and music book certificating were used as research method, the aim is to discuss the relationship between the music and performance and the enhancement of singer ability, and provide some feasible helps for music singing and teaching.The author believed that other types of literature in Carmen except aria, and practical performances is beneficial to the enhancement of learner's level. Through the perception and analysis of the quintet and trio in the whole play, and chorus in the third screen, it is found that the exercise of the ensemble and chorus to sound veracity, rhythm and breath is more difficult and complicated than that of vocal solo. Learning of the ensemble and chorus will roundly improve learners' abilities of comprehending, disposing and performing to music opus. The exercise of the ensemble and chorus will make learners taste multiple sing forms and sing style, which also benefits the abundance of learners' culture field and the perfect of learners' knowledge structure, and make learners become the exhaustive talents. Through singing, analyzing and generalizing of recitative in Carmen, singers can improve the grasp of the opus style and french language rhythm, increase the cognition to the types, action and styles of recitative, and are able to easily study and perform other opuses. In addition, singers' performance skills will be exercised and enhanced in the practical performance process of Carmen, especially to its huge performance space and unique music style. Furthermore, the grasp to the action and character of dramatis personae also improves singers' ability and level. Opera music's continuity makes opera performance present its particularity. Players must complete prescriptive emotion expression in set music space. Players present dramatic dramatis personae to audience, and yet can't overstep the limit of music. So, the players must be high intellectual fettle, and pay attention to their sound, sound veracity, rhythm, speed and the cooperation with the director and band. At the same time, they also clearly know their self position, scenario progress and communication with other players. In this thesis, the practice of opera Carmen was summarized as theory knowledge, and then the theory knowledge was used to direct the practical performance, which is the thematic significance of the discussion.
