Chu culture is the Regional cultural in pre-Qin period in ancient China . Today's scholars in the study of Chu which they put the Chu culture into Jingchu, Xiang Chu, Ba Chu, Wu Chu, and so on. In this paper, about the Chu culture in the geographical expression, We follow the Method that Sima Qian in the "History Records ? the biography of cargo yields " which take the West Chu, East Chu, South Chu into the Chu culture, and its scope includes Jingchu, Wu Chu, Yue Chu, Xu Chu and Xiang Chu ,which covered almost the whole south China in the period of the Western Han Dynasty. "History Records" is the China's first general History of biography .It is the first history and literary works under the unification of ancient Chinese society which takes all geographical cultures. It took the historical figures as its center, and reflected the people's effect in the historical evolution. At the same time, from the records of the historical figures, reflecting strong humanistic spirit. As the "History Records" details the creation of this method slightly, "History Records" in the proportion of Chu in the "History Records" by the figures recorded in the relatively larger, which led us the interest of the study which between Sima Qian and the Chu culture .In the first three chapter of this paper, we take the relationship between the "History Records" and the Chu culture for detailed studies; in the fourth chapter, we take the relationship between the "History Records" and Chu Culture for comparison on History of Literature. That to detec the unique about the relationship between "History Records" and Chu Culture.
