Oral teaching plays a very important part in TCSL system. As a basic course, it woks as a bridge between foreign students'study in classroom and application in real communication. Thus students have a very high expectation on it. Students of primary level firstly face the basic communication when the come to China, so to help them improve their oral Chinese and meet their real communication demand is the important target. Meanwhile, foreign students come to china to study just for target language environment, so we should try our best to combine the classroom teaching with students'practice in the real life perfectly. In this way, students can acquire Chinese fast. From the survey on the teacher and students of primary level, and the concern of the present oral Chinese teaching mode, we found some existing problems .for example, teacher's overemphasis the vocabulary and grammar in oral class; the target language environment has not been combined well with the class teaching; the appraisal is oversimplified and so on. These problems are obstacles on their way of improving oral Chinese. We argue that these problems exist in tradition teaching with the guide of Objectivism. Constructivism becomes a main trend of educational instructive theory, which is founded being aimed to solve the problems produced by Objectivism educational theory. Constructivism holds that knowledge is constructed by learners actively on the basis of their original knowledge and experience through cooperation and social interactive. Constructivism in foreign language teaching holds that learners should learn foreign language in parole. Learners should use the language they have mastered to construct new discourse in communication.This thesis tries to set a oral teaching mode under the guide of Constructivism .The experimental teaching proves that this mode is accepted pleasantly by the students and can help the students improving their oral communication skill efficiently.
